«The Moon and the Octopus» is a short fable dedicated to how we deal with and implement algorithms. The fable is illustrated in a book with drawings of the story that have been modified by a GAN (generative adversarial network). Conveyed with a childlike curiosity and innocence, this project is meant to remind us how much we still have to learn when it comes to what values and biases we program into algorithmic systems.
